Territory Tidy Town Awards

East Arnhem Regional Council (EARC) is proud to have received 13 Awards at the Territory Sustainable Community Tidy Towns Awards 2024.

Wesley Van Zanden (Regional Manager - Waste and Environment), Shannon Cervini (Regional Manager - Council Services), Anesu (Council Services Manager - Gapuwiyak) and Ullas Raman (Council Services Manager - Milingimbi) travelled to Alice Springs for the 'Territory Sustainable Community Tidy Towns Awards 2024' meeting with various Councils and gaining valuable insights. In addition, the EARC team, toured the MacDonnell Regional Council Waste Management Facility in Santa Teresa to share ideas for waste management and sustainability.


Congratulations to our dedicated waste and environment team for all your work across the Communities. A special congratulations to Ricky Ashley and Sharon Wunungmurra for their Citizen of the Year award, recognising their hard work and commitment to the Community.
