No fires at the landfill
Fires at the landfill are different from fires in the bush.
Burning rubbish can release dangerous gases. These gases can make people, animals and Country sick.
Help keep everyone safe, including our children, Elders and families.
Do not light fires at the landfill. If you see a fire, report it to East Arnhem Regional Council: 08 8986 8986
East Arnhem Regional Council has landfill sites at Milingimbi, Ramingining, Galiwin'ku and Gapuwiyak.
