Council Adopts Regional Plan 2025-2026

East Arnhem Regional Council adopted the Budget for the 2025-2026 financial year and the Regional Plan for 2025-2026 at its Ordinary Council Meeting held on Thursday, 26 June 2025.

East Arnhem Regional Council was honoured to attend the Remembrance Day Ceremony at Nhulunbuy Cenotaph (Arafura Park), joining the community in solemn reflection to acknowledge the service and sacrifice of Australian veterans. We recognise the significant contributions of Yolŋu people who fought and supported the defence of Australia across East Arnhem Land during World War II. Gumurr Miwatj Councillor Murphy Yunupingu laid a wreath on behalf of East Arnhem Regional Council paying tribute to all who have served. Lest we forget.
