TCU 30-Year Celebration

President Lapulung Dhamarrandji, Deputy President Stephen Dhamarrandj, Councillor Ganygulpa Dhurrkay, CEO Dale Keehne, Director - Council Services Signe Balodis, and Council Staff attended the Traditional Credit Union (TCU)’s 30-year celebration in Milingimbi on Friday, 3 October 2025.

Northern Land Council Chairman Mathew Ryan joined the celebrations in Milingimbi today.

East Arnhem Regional Council was honoured to attend the Remembrance Day Ceremony at Nhulunbuy Cenotaph (Arafura Park), joining the community in solemn reflection to acknowledge the service and sacrifice of Australian veterans. We recognise the significant contributions of Yolŋu people who fought and supported the defence of Australia across East Arnhem Land during World War II. Gumurr Miwatj Councillor Murphy Yunupingu laid a wreath on behalf of East Arnhem Regional Council paying tribute to all who have served. Lest we forget.
