Regional Wellbeing Camp Recap

4 July 2024

Over four exciting days the Youth Sport and Recreation team at East Arnhem Regional Council delivered the Regional Wellbeing Camp held at the Garma site, Gulkula.


There was a total of 24 participants from five Communities who came together to attend the four-day camp full of activities including:

  • Health workshops with Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation and Top End Health Services
  • Creative art workshops with The Bait Fridge
  • Team building games
  • Capture the Flag 
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Volleyball
  • Movie Nights
  • Fishing at Dhaliwuy Bay
  • And lots more!


We were well supported and extend a huge thank you to the following organisations and their staff who assisted in making this such a success:
