2026 Regional Council By-election

A By-election is being held to fill a casual vacancy in the East Arnhem Regional Council Gumurr Miwatj Ward (1 vacancy).

Nominations are now open. Completed candidate nomination forms must be received by NTEC by 12:00pm, Wednesday 27 May. Late nominations cannot be accepted.


The Electoral Commissioner is the returning officer for the June 2026 Regional Councils By-elections.
